TITLE: Pantry Operations Manager (32+ hours/week, year-round)
COMPENSATION: $23-$25 DOE
SUPERVISOR/REPORTS TO: TVFP Executive Director
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Pantry Operations Manager works under the general supervision of the Executive Director and is responsible for the administration of all required activities of TVFP.
The Pantry Operations Manager is responsible for everything that happens or fails to happen regarding the operation and management of the pantry, but more specifically is responsible for the co-development of annual budgets, pantry policies and procedures, pantry programs and recommendations to ensure accepted practices are successfully followed in food safety and human care.
Additionally, the Pantry Operations Manager is responsible for the management of all employee and volunteer relations, including on-boarding, ensuring proper training, conducting reviews, recommendations for promotions, disciplinary actions, etc. The Pantry Operations Manager will work with the Executive Director when making decisions regarding employee and volunteer relations.
The Pantry Operations Manager will support the overall mission and vision of TVFP by providing direct support of all operations and pantry employees, volunteers, visitors and partners. This position includes general office management, indirect facilities project and management support, employee and volunteer relations oversight, strategic management and planning, event planning and fundraising/development support.
The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills, as well as experience in strategic planning, project management, employee and volunteer management, customer service and human welfare.The Pantry Operations Manager will work both indoors and outdoors as needed.

POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES:

Lead, manage and oversee day-to-day pantry operations and basic food distribution with staff and volunteers. Ensure proper execution of policies and procedures.

Provide direction and leadership to staff and volunteers on an on-going basis. Managing pantry staff and volunteers.

Work directly with the Executive Director on strategic operational needs, staffing, volunteers and fundraising opportunities.

Oversee administrative duties that include good communication skills, familiarity with computer applications: word, excel, quickbooks, donor database, Facebook/Instagram, Google docs, payroll and revenue/donations data. Reports to the Executive Director for proper payment and accounting.

Work with the Executive Director to develop and manage the pantry budget.

Promote a culture of dignity and respect while providing exemplary services and education to all community members,

Monitor scheduling of appropriate cleaning and ongoing maintenance.

Ensure that all food safety requirements are being met.

This position requires heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.

Collaborate with other members of TVFP team including donor identification, development and community outreach in Teton Valley.
